13 de junio.

This week we started a few new math centers.  Ask your child what needed to be done for each center.

This week we wrote about what we thought the butterflies were doing now since we released them.  The children copied "I think the butterflies are..." and then completed the sentence using invented spelling.

If you have not yet returned your child's library books, please do so as soon as possible.

The year is fast coming to a close!

This week, we sketched the chrysalids.  Then, we brainstormed what we noticed.  The children then created sentences using the sentence starter of "I see" and completed the sentence using kid spelling.  They they read their work back to me.  It is absolutely amazing how far they have come this year.

We also made ABC patterns of caterpillars, and made symmetrical butterflies.

Here are some links to songs we will be working on next week.

In math, we showed 10 wheels by using a combination of unicycles, bicycles and tricycles.

And 8 dots on a ladybug in different ways.
